BLT To Stage Spring Murder Mystery
Calling all adult comedic actors. This spring the Bucyrus Little Theatre will present "Drop Dead!" a wildly entertaining murder mystery that will leave audiences in stitches. Auditions will take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12 and Wednesday, Dec. 13, at Bucyrus Little Theatre, located at 130 Songer Ave., Bucyrus.

A nonstop physical comedy that turns the world of theater on its head. A cast of has-been actors plan to revive their careers in "Drop Dead!," a potboiler murder mystery directed by "Wonder Child of the Broadway Stage" Victor Le Pewe. At the dress rehearsal the set falls apart around them, props break, and the producer and an actor are murdered. But the show must go on! And so it does, where at the opening night performance, the murders continue and the play goes incredibly wrong. The remaining thespians must save the show and their careers, solve the mystery and stay alive for curtain calls.
What To Expect
Jason Chandler will direct this nonstop physical comedy. "Drop Dead!" takes place in the present day and is set in an off-off-off Broadway theatre. Those auditioning should come prepared to read from the script and to breathe life into this non-traditional cast, which will consist of 3 adult females and 7 adult males. Must be 18 years or older.
