Bucyrus Little Theatre Calls All Singers & Dancers: Audition For Mamma Mia! This February

Get ready to dust off your dancing shoes and channel your inner ABBA fanatic. Bucyrus Little Theatre is bringing the sun-soaked, feel-good phenomenon Mamma Mia! to the stage this spring, and they're on the hunt for talented performers to join the party!


This worldwide smash hit musical, featuring the irresistible, timeless songs of ABBA, is set to transport audiences to a gorgeous Greek island paradise filled with laughter, love, friendship, and a few juicy family secrets. The story centers on a young bride-to-be who, on the eve of her wedding, secretly invites three men from her mother's past, any one of whom could turn out to be her dad. What follows is a hilarious, heartwarming adventure packed with explosive dance numbers, laugh-out-loud comedy, and uplifting moments, all set to beloved classics like "Dancing Queen," "Mamma Mia," "Honey, Honey," and more.


With over 60 million fans worldwide, Mamma Mia! is the ultimate celebration of life, love, and those songs you just can't help but sing along to.

Audition Call: Your Chance To Shine

Bucyrus Little Theatre is holding open auditions for actors ages 14–60. No prior experience is required, just bring your energy, enthusiasm, and readiness to learn and have fun!


When & Where:

  • Sunday, February 15 at 3:00 p.m.

  • Monday, February 16 at 6:00 p.m.


Location: Bucyrus Little Theatre, 130 Songer Avenue, Bucyrus, Ohio


What to Prepare:

  • Young women: Be ready to sing a portion of "I Have a Dream."

  • Older women: Prepare a portion of "The Winner Takes It Al.l"

  • Men: Come prepared with a portion of "SO.S"


Everyone will also read from the script. No appointment needed, simply show up!


This show calls for a large, energetic cast, so whether you're a seasoned stage veteran or stepping into the spotlight for the first time, everyone who's excited about sharing this enchanting tale of family, surprises, and ABBA magic is encouraged to audition.


Performance Dates

Catch all the ABBA-fueled fun during these performances:

  • May 22–24 and May 29–31

  • Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m.

  • Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m.
