Bucyrus Little Theatre Awards $500 Scholarship to Samantha Dornbirer

Dornbirer To Attend Mount Vernon Nazarene University This Fall

Bucyrus Little Theatre (BLT) is thrilled to announce that Samantha Dornbirer, a graduate of Wynford School District, has been awarded the 2025 Bucyrus Little Theatre Scholarship in the amount of $500. This scholarship recognizes Samantha’s dedication to the performing arts and her active participation in BLT’s theatrical productions.

Samantha will attend Mount Vernon Nazarene University this fall, where she plans to double major in Psychology and Music. Her commitment to the arts extends beyond her academic pursuits, as she intends to continue volunteering at Bucyrus Little Theatre, contributing to the vibrant community that has shaped her theatrical journey.

The BLT Scholarship Program supports Crawford County graduating seniors who have demonstrated a passion for theater through their involvement with BLT and a commitment to continuing their support for the performing arts after high school. Funded by generous community donations and proceeds from BLT’s regular 50/50 raffles, the program awards at least one $500 scholarship annually. Applicants are evaluated based on their theatrical experience, volunteer contributions, a personal statement, and an in-person interview with the BLT scholarship committee.
