Why You Should Tune In

In this lively episode, Scott and Abbey explore why the Master Classes in Acting series is a game-changer for the Crawford County acting community. Scott, with his MFA in acting and professional experience in Chicago and regional theaters, shares his mission to make acting accessible and practical. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or have never stepped on stage, these classes offer something for everyone. Abbey, who’s taken the classes herself, raves about Scott’s ability to break down complex concepts into clear, actionable skills that you can use immediately — on stage or in everyday life.

Three Highlights From Episode 3

  1. Skills for All: Scott’s classes aren’t just for actors. They teach confidence and communication skills that shine in presentations, job interviews, or even first dates. Learn how to quiet that inner critic and present your authentic self.

  2. Stay Local, Shine Bright: Scott passionately advocates for artists to stay in small towns like Bucyrus, where their talents are needed most. With arts programs dwindling, his classes nurture creativity and confidence for kids and adults alike.

  3. Exciting Workshops Ahead: From audition techniques (May 3rd) to Shakespeare, voice acting, comedy, and even “How to Be a Villain,” there’s a class for every interest. Each three-hour session is a deep dive into the craft, led by Scott’s expert guidance.
